For providers
Provider FAQ
What providers ask about Kinosis, in short answers. Plans and the product tour are on Kinosis for providers.
What is Kinosis?
Kinosis is the health protocol intelligence layer for providers: clinics, practices and health programs. Patients record everything they do between visits in the Kinosis app or on WhatsApp, and the care team sees every detail in the Kinosis Providers Portal. The provider stays present every day through reminders, check-ins and team messages in the patient's chat.
How can my practice follow patients between visits?
With Kinosis, patients log exercises, medications, supplements, meals, symptoms, pain, sleep and mood in a sentence, a voice note or a photo, from the app or WhatsApp. Your team sees adherence to each protocol item, trends over time, and a queue of who needs attention today, so problems surface before the next appointment.
How do patients log? Do they have to fill in forms?
No forms. Patients write or speak naturally ("did my knee exercises, pain 3 out of 10") or send a photo of a meal or a lab report. Kinosis turns it into structured data. Patients can also log from Siri, Apple Watch, ChatGPT or Claude.
Can patients use WhatsApp instead of an app?
Yes. Patients can use the Kinosis app (iOS; Android is coming soon) or WhatsApp with the same account, and switch at any time.
How does Kinosis help with home exercise programme adherence in physiotherapy?
The practice sets the home programme as protocol items, marks what is required, and Kinosis reminds the patient and records each session with a one-tap confirmation or a message. Therapists see who is doing the programme, how pain and function change, and who has gone quiet.
Can Kinosis track GLP-1 treatment?
Yes. Patients record injections and doses, side effects, protein, meals, weight and symptoms; lab results and wearable data come in too. The care team sees adherence, dose changes and marker trends, and a summary before each visit of what changed and what to discuss.
What does the care team see in the Providers Portal?
Each patient's full record, adherence per protocol item, marker trends, visits with a pre-visit summary, structured visit notes, answers to the practice's own intake and check-in questions, and a list of at-risk patients: those going quiet, declining in adherence or not answering check-ins.
Does Kinosis replace our EHR?
No. Kinosis runs the protocol between visits; your EHR keeps the chart, scheduling, billing and prescribing records. Kinosis works alongside Healthie, Practice Better, Cerbo, Elation or no EHR at all. If data needs to flow between them, Kinosis connects to what you have: write to partners@kinosis.ai.
Does Kinosis use AI? Is it safe for clinical use?
Kinosis uses AI to turn free text, voice notes and photos into structured health data, and to write summaries for clinicians. In those summaries, code computes every fact and the model only writes the sentences, which are labelled as AI-generated and shown next to the data they come from. Every number in a summary is checked against the data it was computed from; a summary that doesn't pass isn't shown. Kinosis does not diagnose or prescribe: clinicians decide.
Who can see a patient's data?
The patient decides what each role on the care team can see, and can change it at any time. Kinosis never sells or shares individual data, and sells no supplements, tests or prescriptions.
How much does Kinosis cost for a provider?
The app is free for patients. Providers pay by number of active patients: Solo $99 per month (up to 20), Practice $179 (up to 50), Clinic $449 (up to 200), Group $1,100 (up to 500). Same numbers in euros. Every feature is in every plan, with unlimited team seats.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days on any plan (card required). Annual billing gives two months free.
What counts as an active patient?
A patient who logged or synced data in the last 30 days. Patients who stop logging stop counting toward the plan.
Can we have Kinosis under our own brand or inside our own app?
Yes. Larger programs (Enterprise, for more than 500 patients) can have a branded app on the Kinosis platform, Kinosis connected to their own systems, or Kinosis inside their own app through the API. These are priced per program; contact partners@kinosis.ai.
Which wearables and data sources does Kinosis connect?
Oura, WHOOP, Apple Health, Health Connect and Google Health (including glucose from CGM apps that sync to them), plus lab reports uploaded as PDF or photo.
Which languages does Kinosis support?
The app and portal are in English and Spanish. Patients can write or speak to the assistant in any language, and it answers in theirs; what they log is stored as structured data the care team reads in its own language. Scheduled reminders and check-ins are sent in English or Spanish.
Who can use Kinosis?
Clinics and practices of any size, from a single practitioner to multi-site groups: physiotherapy and rehabilitation, longevity and preventive health, GLP-1 and metabolic programs, menopause and hormone care, functional medicine, nutrition and coaching. Patients must be 18 or older.
